A free, hands on seating training session with research and clinical evidence on the benefits of specialist seating. Learn the Four Principles of Good Seating, which when applied can achieve a reduction in pressure injuries, improved function, independence and quality of life. 

Our full day Education Workshop covers in depth training on the principals of why Seating Matters and will look at the goals of seating, postural abnormalities, pressure management, risk assessments and how to conduct a basic or detailed seating assessment.

A Seating Specialist who has been clinically trained by Martina Tierney OT will visit at a time and place to suit you to carry out a free Seating Assessment. This can be a home, hospital or care facility. They can support an OT or Physiotherapist or assess the patient independently.
